COMPLETION

Once the piece is finished, I will send you a picture of the result. When happy with it, I ask for for the remaining balance to be paid before posting the artwork or if we have agreed for personal delivery / collection.

CREATING

As I work on the piece I can send you regular updates, with your permission, I will also post updates on my social media. It is best during this time to let me know if any parts need tweaking and adjusting, although there is a limit to how many changes or the rest will be charged.

BOOKING

I after everything has been agreed, I’ll give an estimated amount of time it will take to complete the artwork. Please bear in mind that waiting times may be long due to current bookings. If it's needed to be complete by a certain date I will do my best to accommodate this. Before beginning the artwork, I ask for a non-refundable 25% of the price as deposit which is taken off at the end once it is finished and the rest is paid.

PHOTOGRAPH

For the artwork I need one main photo of the pet to work from, the highest quality will make for a more realistic and life-like artwork especially if it's a large artwork. Even lighting throughout the photo allows for a clearer idea of the pet without any shadows creating any uncertainty in the pets' image. If your'e looking for a full body artwork rather than just a headshot, the whole body should be within the frame of the photo to reduce any awkwardness and preferably sitting or standing head on. Additional pictures are welcome for more of an idea of the pet. Below I have examples of the reference photos of my animal portraits. Explore my social media for more examples. Please note that my artworks are an interpretation, they won’t be exactly like the photograph although I try to get as close as possible.
